The news has been buzzing lately about automotive recalls. After Toyota’s big one earlier this year, we’ve seen many other recalls with Nissan, Mitsubishi, Ford, Mercedes and more. It can be difficult to know whether a recall is in place on your Year + Make + Model, and even more so what to do about it.
We came across a recent campaign that could help out a lot of us here in Chicagoland. River Oaks Honda in Lansing, is providing a way for people to find out whether their vehicle has a recall or not. Simply fill out a form and a representative from their service department will call you back to tell you whether there is a recall and what should be done. Last time we checked they were even offering a “Free Winter Checkup” to help ensure that your vehicle is ready for the cold.
